SkillsBank sells downloadable AI skill files and prompts. This policy explains what information we collect to run the service and how we handle it.
What we collect
Account information: your name and email address, provided when you sign up. Authentication is handled by Clerk, our sign-in provider.
Billing information: subscriptions and purchases are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout pages and never touch our servers — we store only your Stripe customer reference, subscription status, and purchase history.
Usage information: which offerings you download or copy (used to meter your plan's included downloads), and the requests you make through the site's chat.
Brand Book preferences: if you fill in the Brand Book, the brand details you enter (colors, fonts, guidelines) are saved to your account so your personalized skill can be generated.
How we use it
To provide the service: delivering downloads, metering your plan, personalizing your Brand Book, and maintaining your purchase history.
To operate billing: starting and renewing subscriptions, processing one-time purchases, and handling cancellations through Stripe.
To improve the catalog: aggregated, non-identifying download statistics inform which skills we build next. Chat requests for offerings we don't yet have may be logged (title and description only) to guide what we create.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who processes your data
Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Supabase (application database), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only as needed to run SkillsBank.
Retention & deletion
Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and as required for tax and accounting purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting support — purchase records required by law are retained in anonymized or minimal form.
